In 2018, the FTC ruled that, for all intents and purposes, Lab Diamonds, CVD, Cultured diamonds and Earth mined diamonds are the same thing: 100% a diamond! As such, they are and are all graded and traded the same.
Cultured Diamonds are graded according to the 4Cs of diamond quality - cut, color, carat and clarity. HPHT diamonds and Cultured Diamonds can certified by gemologists and issued a diamond grading report that verifies the stone’s authenticity and value.
